Product Description
Product description
The safe functioning of wallboxes is essential, whether during initial connection to the power supply or during recurring tests, in order to avoid follow-up costs and safety risks. The Wiha wallbox measuring adapter, together with the installation tester, supports the fast, safe, and standardized testing of wallboxes directly via the station's type 2 connection, so there is no need for time-consuming reconnections. The slide switch can be used to simulate the actual vehicle conditions of the control pilot: from A – “Vehicle not connected” to B –“Vehicle connected, not ready for charging” to C – “Electric vehicle connected, ready for charging, ventilation not required”. In addition, the CP error “E” is simulated so that a comprehensive diagnosis of the wallbox can be carried out in accordance with VDE specifications. The integrated LED display provides clear feedback at all times on whether the device is ready for charging and the charging phase, even without an installation tester for a quick check. In combination with the Wiha installation tester, typical measurements can be carried out, such as voltage, frequency, phase sequence, various RCD tests (also for EV RCDs with 6mA DC fault currents), insulation resistance, low-resistance measurements, line and loop impedance. The slide switch can be used to simulate the actual vehicle conditions of the control pilot: from A – “Vehicle not connected” to B –“Vehicle connected, not ready for charging” to C – “Electric vehicle connected, ready for charging, ventilation not required”.
